Boat detailing is priced by the foot: $7 per foot for a wash and $15 per foot for a polish and sealant. A 21-foot boat is $147 for a wash or $315 for polish and sealant. A polish takes about 4 hours. We come to wherever the boat sits — your driveway, a storage lot, or the marina.

Boats live a hard life out here. Between Lake Perris, Lake Elsinore, Diamond Valley and Skinner, a Southern California boat spends its summer under UV that chalks gelcoat, and the rest of the year sitting in a side yard or a storage lot collecting dust.

We price boats by the foot so you know the number before we show up. A wash is $7 a foot. A polish with sealant — the service that actually brings chalky, faded gelcoat back — is $15 a foot and takes around four hours.

Wash vs. polish — which one you need

  • Wash ($7/ft): hull, deck, seats and vinyl washed down, waterline scum line addressed, dried by hand
  • Polish & sealant ($15/ft): machine polish that cuts back oxidation and chalking, then a sealant to hold the gloss and slow UV damage
  • Vinyl seating cleaned as part of both services
  • We come to the boat — driveway, storage yard or marina

How to tell which you need: run your hand across the hull. If it comes away clean, you need a wash. If it comes away with a chalky white film on your palm, the gelcoat has oxidized and a wash will not fix it — that is what the polish and sealant is for.

We measure length overall for pricing. If you are not sure of your boat's length, the registration or the manufacturer's model number usually tells you.

How long does boat detailing take?

A polish and sealant takes about 4 hours. A wash is considerably quicker.

What is the difference between a boat wash and a polish?

A wash removes dirt, salt and the waterline scum line. A polish uses a machine to cut back oxidation — the chalky, faded look UV gives gelcoat — and then seals it. If your hand comes away chalky when you rub the hull, you need the polish.

Where do you detail boats?

Wherever the boat is: your driveway, a storage lot, or the marina. We are fully self-contained and bring our own water and power.

Do you detail pontoon boats?

Yes. Pontoons, bowriders, ski boats, wakeboats and fishing boats are all priced the same way, by length overall.
